Yee-Haw

"Yee Haw" is the second episode of the first season of 9-1-1: Lone Star. It aired on January 20, 2020.

Synopsis

The crew races to a disaster at a wave pool, and an outbreak of mercury poisoning that is leaving its victims in a zombie-like state. Meanwhile, Owen must come to terms with his illness and what the side-effects of treatment may do to his vanity. Also, Michelle follows a new lead on her missing sister while TK is unsure how to handle his budding relationship with Carlos.^[2]

Trivia

Although the press release says there was an incident involved at a wave pool, it was not shown in the episode.

Goofs

Michelle giving the boy the asthma medicine was not done properly. Instead of giving two quick puffs, one should shake the puffer to make sure the medicine is active, then give one puff, wait for a moment, then give the second puff.
Owen's lung cancer, being stage 1B, would be treated by surgery or radiation, not chemotherapy.
