Heatwaves[]

In "The New Hotness", he and Melody go to the county fair but he accidentally swallows a frog because of the derecho and the 126 paramedics, especially Tommy save his life. The next day, at the fair, he and his daughter get stuck into an attraction that catch fire and they have to jump from it onto the tarp used by the 126 as a rescue cushion. Later, as he is treated by Tommy for his burnt hand, she asks him on a playdate for his daughter and hers and also on a date-date.

In "The New Hot Mess", he comes by the firehouse to ask Tommy out which she accepts but once he's at her house, later in the week, he realizes that the dinner also includes the presence of Grace and Judd. At the end of it, he leaves, telling Tommy they'll see each other later, before coming back to her place and kissing her, telling her that their next date will have to be without their chaperones. Tommy agrees. This was witnessed by an amused Grace and Judd who remark that she still has a chance.

They start dating in "Tommy Dearest" and after some issues with Trevor's daughter, Melody, they make up and she's glad her father is dating Tommy.
