Simpson is a minor character on 9-1-1 who is the Chief of the Los Angeles Fire Department as well as the boss of Station 118 and its Captain, Bobby Nash. He first appears in the second episode of season seven, "Rock the Boat," and is portrayed by Richard Brooks.
