Season Two is the second season of 9-1-1: Lone Star. It was first announced on March 9, 2020. [2] with the official announcement following on April 13, 2020.[3]
The season premiered on January 18, 2021 with "Back in the Saddle".

Synopsis
As Capt. Owen Strand welcomes newcomer Captain Tommy Vega to the 126, he must face the unexpected arrival of his ex-wife, Gwyneth, who visits Austin to check on their firefighter son, T.K., following the injuries he sustained at the end of last season. All of this occurs as the rescue squad must deal with an emergency that the Texas capital has never encountered before.[5]

Confirmed Storylines
- A crossover episode with its original series, which earlier on had been considered "inevitable" by Tim Minear, was confirmed to be in the works on November 22, 2020 when actors Ronen Rubinstein, Brian Michael Smith and Oliver Stark, who stars as firefighter Evan Buckley on 9-1-1 posted promotional photos of said episode. - This episode will also be set in Texas and not Los Angeles.

- The spring premiere will focus on Judd and Grace's relationship, and how they met and eventually fell in love. [10]
