Season Two is the upcoming second season of 9-1-1: Lone Star. It was first announced on March 9, 2020. [2] with the official announcement following on April 13, 2020.[3]

It is set to premiere sometime midseason in 2021. [4]

  • The appearance of Gwenyth, TK's mother and Owen's ex-wife. [5]
  • Iris's return changing up Michelle's life even more.[6]
  • A continuation of Owen's cancer storyline. [5]
  • The courtship between TK and Carlos's relationship.[5]
    • More on Carlos's backstory, his family and seeing a "different side to both of them". [5]
  • More on TK's previous addiction to opioids and his life beforehand. [5]
  • A deeper look of each of the 126 crew's lives. [6]
    • Judd's backstory from when he was with the original 126 crew, along with his continous struggles of his PTSD. [5]
    • Marjan's backstory. [5]
    • A continuation of Paul's storyline with Josie. [5]
  • Grace's family making an appearance. [5]

  • Tim Minear confirmed on May 23, 2020, that 9-1-1: Lone Star would feature backstory episodes similar to the ones seen on 9-1-1 during Season 2. [8]
  • On September 3, 2020, it was announced that Gina Torres will join the cast as paramedic Tommy Vega. [9]
  • On September 22, 2020, it was announced that Liv Tyler would not be returning for Season 2 due to COVID-19 concerns. [10]
