Season Four of 9-1-1: Lone Star was first announced on May 16, 2022.[1] Filming started on August 29, 2022, and ended on April 20th, 2023. It premiered on January 24th, 2023[2] and ended on May 16th, 2023 with a two-hour finale.
Synopsis[]
Owen, Tommy and the rest of the 126 are being called into action to a county fair when a ‘derecho,’ a series of fast-moving group of severe thunderstorms, hit Austin, causing hurricane and tornado-force winds, heavy rains, flash floods and a wide path of destruction. And just when they think it couldn’t get worse, an even more rare weather phenomenon, a ‘heat burst,’ causing temperatures to go up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, hits the city.

- TK and Carlos' wedding will be shown [3] and we will see them plan their wedding.
- There will be a storyline for Carlos in the premiere where he "trips pretty hard" and that it might "piss off some people, it might not". [4]
- Lyndsy Fonseca will reprise her role as Iris Blake.[5]
- A storyline involving an extremist group planning an attack who's being investigated by a new character, Special Agent Rose Casey and Owen.
- Carlos and Sergeant O'Brien will be working a case together.
- Carlos is hiding a secret from TK and will reveal what it is to him in the first episode. [6]
- A storyline where Carlos' life is put in jeopardy after he investigates the disappearance of someone close to him.[7]

- On September 28, 2022, it was announced that Neal McDonough, D.B. Woodside, and Amanda Schull had been cast in recurring roles for the fourth season.[8]
- Lyndsy Fonseca, who portrays Michelle Blake's sister, Iris, returns this season.
- The entire main cast, with the exception of Kelsey & Skyler Yates, took new promotional photos for the season.
