Season Five is the fifth and final[1] season of 9-1-1: Lone Star. It was first announced on May 1, 2023.[2] It premiered on September 23, 2024[3] and ended on February 3, 2025.
Filming of the season began on March 4, 2024[4] and ended on July 11, 2024.[5]
Synopsis[]
Captains Strand and Vega, along with the 126 team, race into action when in a multi-episodic opening storyline, a catastrophic train derailment endangers several lives including some of their own. With Judd resigning from the 126 to take care of his recently disabled son Wyatt, Owen must find a new lieutenant to replace Judd and has a difficult decision ahead of him when both Marjan and Paul apply for the promotion. Tommy is ready to take the next step in her relationship, but she finds the road to happiness is filled with obstacles. On his 30th birthday, T.K. gets a surprise visit from someone from his past that could change his and Carlos’ lives forever. Now officially husband and husband, T.K. and Carlos’ marriage is put to the test when Carlos becomes obsessed with solving his father’s murder.
Confirmed Storylines[]
- The death of Owen's brother in the season four finale will be revisited.[6]
- The first three episodes will be about a train derailment and someone from the 126 might get injured.[7]
- Someone will replace Judd's spot as lieutenant and it will be a competition for multiple episodes.[8]
- Someone new will join the 126 and "people are going to love it".[9]
- Nancy will become the 126 paramedic captain, temporarily or not.
- A disaster linked to an asteroid impact will happen in episode 11.
- Wyatt will be taking the role as the main dispatcher, replacing Grace.[10]
- TK's half brother Jonah and Gwyneth Morgan's ex-boyfriend Enzo will appear, possibly in episodes 7 and 8. [11]
- Carlos will become a Texas Ranger and gains a new partner. [12]
- There will be a one year timejump since the season four's finale. [13]

- It was reported that Sierra McClain would not be returning as Grace Ryder due to a cast renegotiation dispute.[18]
- On August 2, it was reported that Jackson Pace was promoted to series regular.[14]
- It was confirmed on September 5, that the fifth season will be the show's last, making this the first series in the franchise to end.[19]
