Synopsis

A series of freeway car accidents leads to a catastrophic overpass collapse that endangers the lives of civilians and members of the 118.

Continuity

• Bobby and Athena finally go on the cruise that they were meant to go on in "Let the Games Begin". They had to postpone going on the cruise due to Athena's father Samuel suffering a stroke.
• Jeff Pickens, who previously appeared as a basketball player that the 118 saved from a collapsed hotel building in "7.1", is the young man who helps Athena save Bobby when Bobby is trapped under debris in a storage container during the bridge collapse.
