Olivia Ortiz is a councilwoman in Los Angeles.
History[]
Her Son's Death[]
After the death of Councilwoman Olivia Ortiz's son, Kyle[1], Ortiz blames Hen and revokes the Wilsons' foster license, which caused their foster daughter, Mara Driskell, to be placed in a temporary home.[2]
Mayoral Campaign[]
In "Ashes, Ashes", it is announced that Ortiz is running for mayor.
Getting Exposed[]
A court hearing was eventually held, where a judge ruled that Hen and Karen could not have any contact with Mara. However, Bobby Nash convinced Vincent Gerrard, the captain that had replaced him at Station 118 under orders from Ortiz, that Ortiz did not have Gerrard's best interests in mind. Gerrard then caught Ortiz admitting to blackmail and bribery on his body camera, which was then exposed at a city council meeting. This allowed Hen and Karen to take back custody of Mara.[3]
