Lola Peterson is a character on 9-1-1 who is the wife of Norman Peterson.

History[]

She first appears standing atop a billboard overlooking a highway. Lola was screaming to be noticed by her husband and refused to leave until Norman arrives. To that end, she pulled out a pistol and shot the inflatable mattress and ordered firefighter Evan Buckley at gunpoint. As they had time, she was asked what happened to bring this on. Lola revealed her and Norman had a son who was out of the house. She wanted to reignite the spark they had because she felt their lives were boring. Lola soon got impatient and flash the camera so that Norman would see her. This tactic successfully was able to get Norman to come down and see her after worrying about her mentality. Norman soon explained he thought everything was good and had no idea that his wife has so much issues. After Norman promised they could rekindle, Lola was happy to win back the love of her husband Norman. However, she was arrested by Sgt. Athena Grant-Nash for her crimes of public disturbance, brandishing a firearm, shooting at firefighters, and public nudity.

Some months passed, where she served sixty days in jail and reconnected with her husband who visited every day. Dispatcher Josh Russo had contacted her and Norman to show Maddie Buckley how her hard work as a dispatcher helped so many people. Lola in particular speaks up to reveal how they are grateful for her assistance in saving their marriage, for Maddie was the one who took Norman's call and got him to the scene with a police motorcycle patrol,

Five years later, Lola and Norman are revealed to have retired from their jobs and are guests on the cruise ship that Athena and Bobby vacation on. They recognize the pair and jog their memories of their first memories. However, Athena discovers that Lola has been having an affair with Julian Enes. Lola had also helped Julian with his international smuggling crimes, much to Norman's dismay.

In "Capsized", she is worried her wounded husband is pinned to the ceiling until Bobby successfully gets him down. Lola is devastated by Norman giving her the cold shoulder to refusing her aid or refusing to discuss the details of the affair. She also gives Julian similar disdain for manipulating her. Julian ends up dead later and his crimes exposed.

After the rescue, Lola is arrested for her role in Julian's schemes which ultimately led to the eventual sinking of the cruise ship. As she was arrested, Lola frantically begged her devastated husband for forgiveness, Norman responded that they would discuss it in 10 or 20 years, when she gets out of prison. When he was carted off, she declared her love for him.
