Jonah is a recurring character from 9-1-1: Lone Star. He is the son of Gwyneth Morgan & Enzo de la Costa and the half-brother of TK Strand.
After the death of his mother and the incarceration of his father, Jonah was adopted by his brother and his husband, Carlos Reyes, in the series finale.
History[]
Jonah's paternity came into question when Gwyn had originally believed the father was her ex-husband, Owen Strand. However, Enzo de la Costa had visited Austin and he had sex with Gwyn. After a paternity test, it is confirmed the baby was Enzo's, not Owen's. For the first few years of his life, he lived in New York with Gwyn and Enzo, with TK coming to New York to visit sometimes.
Visting TK and Enzo's arrest[]
Enzo comes to Austin with Jonah for TK's 30th birthday. He gifts him a new McClaren, TK's dream car.[1]
At TK's party, the FBI arrest Enzo for fraud, conspiracy, tax evasion, and wire fraud. The car Enzo gifted TK was also seized.
TK visits Enzo in jail, where he explains a start up to help bring fresh water he invested in was bogus. Thousands of his employees were about to lose their jobs so he moved money from his other job to help them. He tells TK to call his business manager to wire $2.6m for Jonah so he can get into boarding school. TK isn't so fond of the idea of Jonah being in boarding school outside of Geneva because he won't have any family around. Because of this, TK starts looking into adopting Jonah.[2]
Being adopted[]
After Carlos closes his case on his father's murder, he and TK start the process on adopting Jonah. During the home visit and interview, their request to adopt Jonah is denied due to the nature and grueling schedules of their respective professions.[3]
Five months after the asteroid strike, they manage to adopt Jonah and he is living in their loft.[4]
