Trivia[]
- Hen reveals that the last time someone said the q-word in the firehouse:
- The offending party was Buck, who was talking about the dishwasher
- The team had to respond to 36 calls that day, setting a house record.
- The 37th "call," referred to by Buck, was caused by Buck triggering the fire suppression system at the station house and filling the locker room with fire-suppressing foam.
- Buck reveals his parents had agreed to go to some of his therapy sessions with him, to try mending their strained relationship.
- A few deleted scenes from previous episodes were shown during their rush-hour including:
- The movie theater scene that was supposed to happen in "Awful People"
- The kid stuck in the washing machine in "Kids Today"
- The Octopus landing on the girl might possibly have been the office employee having a close-encounter with an eight-limbed creature that was said to happen in "Monsters", though it is unknown.
Continuity[]
- Hen asks Eddie if Ana was the teacher he yelled at, something he did back in "Fools"
Cultural References[]
- Buck tells Hen, that the clipboard is a kinder, gentler clipboard, which is a play on words, which George H. W. Bush gave the quote when he calls for a "kinder, gentler nation."
- Chimney mentions that if the q word is said a third time, Candyman would come out and kill them all.
- The call that Larry received to smash the window was similar to a prank phone call that caused several Burger King workers to smash their windows.
- The stunt that Izzy Chainz pulled on the billboard is similar to what the Youtuber steveo did in August 2020 , where he duct taped himself to a billboard. However, the difference was they had a crane prepared to take him down (to which the LAFD denied them to do so) and he would later sell his photos to help donate to the LAFD for them for their time.
