"It wasn't loaded."
—Jeffrey's last words before succumbing to his injuries[src]

Jeffery Hudson was the serial rapist who attacked Athena.

History[]

Attacking Athena[]

After the drone that Jeffery was operating caused an accident where a father and son got injured, the 118 and Athena responded to the scene. When Athena accused him of trespassing for flying a drone over a private property, he claimed that he was a realtor getting aerial footage of the neighborhood for a new listing. Athena then asked him to show her his remote pilot license and arrested him after he failed to do so. He got handed over to FBI but was released from custody shortly after with just a warning. He then turned out to be a serial rapist who used his drone to spy on his targets before he raped them.[1]

He went into hiding after he was released but Athena eventually found him at a self-storage facility. Inside the facility, while Athena was looking for him, he found her first and ambushed her. He started attacking her brutally but Athena managed to shoot him in the groin and got him arrested.[2]

Trial[]

When Jeffery's trial began, Athena and some of his victims were called to testify. He was charged with six counts of rape and a charge of beating an LAPD Sergeant nearly to death. Before the trial started, Jeffery fired his attorney as he wanted to represent himself, and he was allowed to do so by the judge. In the middle of his trial, a ransomware attack hit Los Angeles and he took advantage of the chaos and escaped the court. Assuming that Jeffery would take refuge with one of his fans, Athena and Lou Ransone split up to find him at the houses of the girls from his "fan club", but Jeffery went to the lawyer he fired instead, still upset with how she treated him. Lou eventually found him at the lawyer's house and arrested him. However, things took a dark turn when the lawyer came up behind Lou and slit his throat as they made their way to his car.[3]

Kidnapping Harry[]

His lawyer turned out be one of his lovers and was willing to go on the run with him. The two dumped the grievously wounded Ransone in a field but Jeffery turned on his lawyer for bringing more heat on him and killed her, before fleeing in her car. Four days later, Athena found out that Jeffery was still at large. They started a manhunt for him and learned that he had killed his lawyer. Thinking he might go after his victims, Athena conducted a stakeout outside one of the victim's house, but he didn't show. During the blackout, Athena's ex Michael decided to open Athena and Bobby's house to the neighbors since theirs is the only house in the neighborhood that has a generator. Jeffery used it as an opportunity to get into the house and took Athena's son Harry without anyone noticing. By the time Athena realized that she was also one of the victims, Jeffery had Harry kidnapped and tied up in the trunk of the car.

While Jeffery made a pit stop to get paint supplies, Harry managed to escape from the trunk, but Jeffery eventually found him and shoved him back into the car. He then took Harry to an abandoned housing development and hid him in the wall of a house and sealed him in.

Death[]

Later, Athena had Jeffery cornered at a metro station with the help of the 118. They came face-to-face and exchanged words, but it was cut short when Jeffery pointed the gun at Bobby, which forced Athena to shoot him repeatedly in the chest. He died on the spot before Athena could get him to tell her where Harry was. His final words were that his gun wasn't loaded.[4]
