In Another Life

In Another Life is the eleventh episode of the sixth season of 9-1-1, and the eighty-ninth episode overall. It aired on March 13, 2023.

Synopsis[]

As Buck's life hangs in the balance, he dreams of a world where he never became a firefighter, for better and worse.^[1]

Trivia[]

Genevieve Kendall, Maddie and Doug’s daughter in Buck’s dream, is played by Autumn James Hallisay, who is the real life daughter of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brian Hallisay.
This is May's last appearance as a series regular, although she is still credited for the rest of the season.

Alternate Reality Changes[]

Buck's older brother Daniel is still alive, working as a doctor.
Maddie is still an E.R. Nurse, having never ran away from Doug.
Buck is a teacher, who's students seem to be very fond of him.
Maddie is still married to Doug, and the two have a daughter named Genevieve.
Bobby died from alcoholism five years prior and is subsequently not married to Athena.
Eddie lost custody of Christopher to his grandparents who live in Texas because he never met Carla.
Another Captain named Righetti is the new captain following Bobby's death.
