9-1-1 Wiki

Holy Mother of God is the eleventh episode of the eighth season of 9-1-1, and the one hundred-and-seventeenth episode overall. It aired on March 20, 2025.

Synopsis[]

The 118 responds to a call at a mega-church, where Bobby runs into his estranged mother. Meanwhile, Buck is looking to expand his social circle now that Eddie has left.[2]

Plot[]

Buck approaches Ravi and offers to take him out for beer, as the latter accepts with skepticism. They are interrupted by a man, who wants to speak with their Captain and Buck asks what's up with him and the man answers to tell Bobby his brother wants to see him, revealing he is Charlie Nash. The surprised firefighters proceed to get Bobby and they get caught up, and Charlie told Bobby that Ann had invited him and Athena to lunch.

When Buck takes Ravi out for drinks in an effort to make more friends, the latter ends up talking excessively about Eddie and his antics, annoying Ravi. Buck soon goes to get beers and finds Tommy. In order to get out of drinking with Buck, Ravi reunites the exes and flees. The two of them catch up, where Tommy learns Eddie went back to Texas and he also reveals they haven't spoke since the breakup. Tommy tells Buck he thought about calling and has drove past the loft a couple times, but Buck had started subletting Eddie's house. The two go there and hook up and the next morning they discuss the possibility of giving their relationship another go. Tommy seemingly jokes about the "competition" has been eliminated, referring to Eddie and insinuates Buck has a crush on him. Buck gets defensive and snaps at Tommy, who then leaves.
