"Christmas Spirit" is the tenth episode and winter finale of the third season of 9-1-1, and the thirty-eighth episode overall. It aired on December 2, 2019.

Synopsis[]

The 118 responds to holiday-themed incidents, including a shopper pushed over the edge, a woman who is literally having a "Blue Christmas" and a luggage handler accident on a tarmac. Meanwhile, Maddie revisits her past to embrace her future and Bobby receives shocking news.^[2]

Lorna's emergency of her turning blue from the toothache medicine was based on a real-life incident of a woman turning blue from the same situation.^[3]
- Lorna makes a reference to the movie Avatar when she says she looks like one after turning blue.
The catering cart losing control at the airport was also based off a real-life incident that happened in Chicago in October 2019.^[4]

Bobby's medical problems that had become a concern to the team and his family that sprung up after the fire in "Fallout" was cleared.
Michael tells Bobby at the end of the episode that he has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Maddie is handed a check from Doug's assets. She later gets closure from Doug after visiting the place where he died.
