"Fallout" is the ninth episode of the third season of 9-1-1, and the thirty-seventh episode overall. It aired on November 25, 2019.

Synopsis

The 118 responds to debris from a meteor shower crashing into an apartment building and a deadly fire caused by a hazardous waste truck crash inside a tunnel. Meanwhile, Hen struggles with guilt over her ambulance accident, Bobby introduces Eddie to an old friend to help with his anger and Maddie receives an urgent call for help.

Trivia

• As of this episode, Athena's suspension from work caused by her actions in "Athena Begins" has been lifted.
• Maddie also returns to work for the first time since her suspension in "Monsters" but she remains in therapy.
• Buck mentions that Olivia is the second person to have been hit by a meteor since the 50s. This is a reference to the real-life story of Ann Hodges , who was hit in the thigh by the Sylacauga meteorite on November 30, 1954, while napping on her couch.
• References to the Chernobyl disaster are made during the tunnel emergency.
• Chimney quotes Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade ("It belongs in a museum, so do you") during the meteor emergency to Buck.
• Hen is reunited with Stacey, the life coach that she saved who inspired her to become a paramedic in "Hen Begins".
• The time that Buck slept with his therapist in "Let Go" is mentioned, with Buck saying that he was "going through a phase".
