Dennis Jenkins is a character on 9-1-1 who is formerly a prisoner for killing Athena Grant-Nash's fiance, Emmett Washington in 1991.
History[]
Convenience Store Robbery and Killing Emmett[]
While high on drugs, Dennis brought a gun to rob a convenience store and shot Emmett, killing him. Shocked at what he had done, instead of turning himself in, he fled the scene and the case went unsolved for three decades.
Athena's Confrontation[]
After getting away with Emmett's murder for 30 years, Athena managed to uncover the truth and track down Dennis' home address.
Asking for a Deal[]
While he was in prison, a prisoner told him about a "Black Book". At first, Dennis didn't want to be involved until officers realized the significance of the Black Book and how Dennis was a friend to the prisoner who was killed in prison after telling Dennis was told about the Black Book. He later agreed but on the condition that Athena is the one who escorts him to the right authorities as he didn't trust anyone else.
Plane Disaster[]
Dennis was in the plane with Athena when the plane crashed into another plane due to a tornado made of bees. He assists in treating a passenger, Donna who was suffering from compartment syndrome by creating a shiv using a toothbrush and a lighter. When Athena lands the plane safely, he gets Bobby to assist Athena who is giving a co-pilot non-stop CPR. After helping Bobby and Athena locate the Black Book, he takes a bullet for Bobby when a rogue AUSA agent threatened to kill Athena and Bobby for the Black Book. He is last seen in the hospital recovering from his injuries.
