Daniel was a man who was working up the courage to propose to his girlfriend, Ariel Simone.

History[]

Proposal[]

In "Stuck", Daniel was attempting to purchase a case for a diamond ring - He's got a cheap replica and he only wants the box, so his girlfriend Ariel Simone wouldn't start selling it for charity. He gets the box and heads up a mall escalator to surprise her, but is devoured by a defective elevator panel as soon as he gets close. Units from the 118 arrive and discover him alive but bleeding heavily. They manage to extract him and perform first aid, where Chimney also tells him Ariel seems to have accepted his proposal. Immediately after that, Daniel's blood pressure drops steeply due to blood loss, and he dies, causing Ariel to wail in grief on his body.

Chimney would later bring up Daniel in his discussion with Bobby in a comparison. Daniel, who had a life-changing experience, only lived long enough for a moment, while Chimney himself, who was nearly killed by a rebar, felt his life went flavorless.

Trivia[]

  • Daniel’s death could have been based off of the mother in China, who died due to a faulty floor panel on top of an escalator.
