Catherine Harper was a character on FOX's 9-1-1: Lone Star who was the girlfriend of Owen Strand. She debuted in the fifth episode of the third season of 9-1-1: Lone Star and was portrayed by guest star Amy Acker.

Early Life[]
Catherine is born to an unknown woman and a man who was a roughneck from the Midland.
Bizarre first date[]
She and Owen met through a dating app in "Child Care", which goes terribly after differences in opinions on movies and other activities. As they prepared to end it, Owen abruptly borrows her car, and she is forced to tag along. She threatens to call the cops on him, only to stop when he explains he is in pursuit of a kidnapper from the recent Amber Alert. At his instructions, she notified the cops of the situation. After he is able to get the car to stop, Catherine watched in awe as he subdued the kidnapper before he has her tend to the victim, until the cops arrive. Impressed by his handle of the situation, she gives him another chance and they resume the date.
Dating Owen[]
During The Bird, she goes on another date with Owen and this one goes better, as it leads to their first kiss. She is soon amused to find he has a pet macaw Ginsburg that was left by his late ex-wife and by it insulting him. After Owen got on better terms, Catherine helped him find a toy but when they go to surprise Ginsburg, they find him dead.
Bio-hazard Attack[]
In "Prince Albert in a Can", she goes on a date with Owen to a cowboy bar but is upset when he punches a patron who insulted her. Catherine tells him she is used to people like that. Much later, she's victim of a bio-hazard attack at her office of - what they think is a mortal product- but only ends up being cornstarch. She celebrates with Owen, though they are unable to go further when his room is found vandalized. She remarks that he also had some enemies too.
During "Negative Space", Catherine helps Owen in investigating a crooked deputy but is surprised when the latter turns out to be aware of them watching and joins them in the car, before threatening them. She is then horrified to watch the man be consumed flames when his car explodes but the former cop survived. It is also revealed he was innocent and the cornstarch was placed by Sadie Becker, a crazed stalker of Owen's.
Leaving Texas[]
As of season 4, she is living in Washington DC.

She and Owen met through a dating app in "Child Care", which didn't go well until she joins in his pursuit of a kidnapper and she is impressed by his actions. Their next date in "The Bird" goes better with their first kiss and her teasing him. They break up in "Riddle of the Sphynx" after a misunderstanding where Owen tells her she has daddy issues as he thought she only dated older men.
