Buck & Abby is the romantic relationship from 9-1-1 between Evan Buckley and Abigail Clark.

History[]

Getting Together[]

Abby and Buck's first interaction was when Abby assisted him on a phone call where he thanked her for her duties as an operator. They became quick friends despite only talking on the phone. They were able to connect to each other just by phone until they finally meet face to face in "Point of Origin", when he helped her find her mother who had wandered off. They began dating after Valentine's Day in "Heartbreaker".

Break Up[]

After Abby's mother died, Abby decided to leave her job at dispatch and Los Angeles and headed to Ireland. She bade an emotional goodbye to Buck and they agreed to do long-distance. Buck stayed in her apartment and awaited her return. As time passed, their communication became less and less, eventually to the point where Buck decided to leave her apartment and officially broke up with Abby.

Reunion[]

Abby was back in the States and she and her fiancé were on a train back to L.A. The train was suddenly derailed, causing a mass casualty situation, and Abby called it in. The 118 were dispatched to the accident where Abby reunited with Buck. He was stunned when he learned Abby had a fiancé but promised her he would rescue him.[1]

Closure[]

Abby and Buck met up again and Buck was mad that she was only sorry for him finding out about Sam that way. He asked her when she knew she was never coming back to him, and she said that she thought she would come back but was scared that if she did, she would return to a goal-less situation. They left amicably, and Buck said that he was happy she was happy now because she deserved it.[2]
