Buck, Bothered and Bewildered is the fourth episode of the seventh season of 9-1-1, and the one hundredth episode overall. It aired on April 4, 2024.

Synopsis[]

Upon her return to shore, Athena’s son, Harry, finds himself in trouble with the law. Meanwhile, Buck grows envious as Eddie forms a close bond with someone else, and the 118 rescue a woman who’s stuck on receiving a rose at an iconic mansion.^[2]

This episode features a crossover with the ABC reality TV series The Bachelor.^[3]
Tim Minear revealed in an interview that Jennifer Love Hewitt was the one who pitched the crossover idea to him.^[4]

Continuity[]

Harry Grant returns in this episode. His last appearance was in season five episode "Outside Looking In". However, Harry is now portrayed by Elijah M. Cooper instead of Marcanthonee Jon Reis due to Reis declining to return.^[5]
Chimney mentioned playing basketball with Albert, which was seen in "9-1-1, What's Your Grievance?".

Cultural References[]

The episode's title is a reference to Ella Fitzgerald's 1956 song "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered", originally a show tune from the musical Pal Joey in 1940.
