Asha Fulton is a character on FOX's 9-1-1: Lone Star. She debuts in the fifth episode of the fourth season and is portrayed by guest star Amanda Payton.

History[]

Early Life[]

Asha was living in Chicago as a child until she moved to Texas in seventh grade and changed her name from Jasmine to Asha. Later in her life, she became the Department Advocate of the Professional Standard Division part of AFD Internal Affairs.

Meeting the 126[]

Asha is hired as the HR Representative when the Geralds start a case against Marjan when she called Mrs Gerald "crazy" during a rescue. She interviews every members of the 126 and is present during an official confrontation between the two sides that ends in Marjan having to post a public apology and share the Geralds' fundraiser. Later, she tells Paul that she's on Marjan's side and that her conclusion that she sent to the AFD show that except the Department already made their decision and Marjan has to apologise.

Paul Strickland[]

Paul and Asha first met in Mrs Templeton's sixth grade class in Hidden Oaks school in Chicago. After she moved to Texas, they lost each other and only met up again when Asha was hired as the HR Representative for the case between the Geralds and Marjan where she tells Paul that she recognised him because she could never forget his smile. Later, they go on a date which ends up making Paul uncomfortable as Asha keeps showing him pictures of them as children that she found. As of "Swipe Left", they are in a relationship. She is his plus one at TK and Carlos' wedding and she's now also a part of the 126 hangs to play Catan.
