9-1-1: Nashville[2] is an upcoming television series that is currently in development for 20th Television and Ryan Murphy Productions.[3] The series will serve as the second spinoff in the 9-1-1 franchise, created and executive produced by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear.
Expected to air on ABC in Fall 2025, the show will follow in the footsteps of the original 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star.[4]

From prolific creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, new procedural drama 9-1-1: Nashville is a fast-paced exploration into the lives and careers of first responders – cops, paramedics, firefighters – as they tackle emergencies unique to the vibrant culture and challenges of Music City.

- Chris O'Donnell as Don Sharpe, a rugged fire captain and rodeo rider who runs Nashville’s busiest firehouse with his beloved son. Don’s a devoted husband and family man but he has his secrets.[5]
- Jessica Capshaw as Blythe Ward, the mother of Ryan and wife of Captain Don Sharpe.[6][7][8]
- Michael Provost as Ryan Sharpe, a modern-day cowboy and firefighter.[9]
- LeAnn Rimes as TBD[10], Blue's mother[11]

- Hailey Kilgore as Taylor, a firefighter and incredible singer.[9]
- Juani Feliz as Roxie, an adrenaline junkie and former trauma surgeon.[9]

- This will be the second series of the franchise to air on ABC.
- Connie Britton's name was brought up during casting conversations and Minear joked about reviving her character from the show Nashville, calling her Abby Clark's twin sister.[14]
- The series will air at 9 P.M. on Thursdays after 9-1-1.[15]

Development[]
On February 20, 2025, it was announced that the show would take place in Nashville and was given a straight-to-series order at ABC.[16] While Las Vegas and Hawaii have been reported as potential settings for the upcoming series, the final location and title have been confirmed as Nashville.[17]
Casting[]
On March 17, 2025, Chris O'Donnell was cast in the lead role.[5] On April 15, 2025, it was reported that Jessica Capshaw had joined the cast.[6] On May 8, 2025, LeAnn Rimes and Kimberly Williams-Paisley were announced to join the main cast.[10] On June 3, 2025, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz and Hunter McVey joined the main cast.[9]
Filming[]
In February 2025, the series was revealed to be in production.[18] Principal photography began in late May 2025.[19] Filming was reportedly set to begin in March 2025, and then on June 30, 2025.[20][21] Filming will take place until February 2026 in Georgia and Tennessee.[22]
